Dear IFP Players:

After much serious thought I have come to the decision to not run the Internet Football Pool for the 2002-2003 season. Many factors influenced this decision, such as my minimal free time to work on the pool this year, the many costs incurred running the pool, and the lack of real income to support running the site. Therefore, I decided to not run the IFP this year. That's not to say the site might be launched next year as a fee-based site... we'll see.

Not running the site will allow me to work on some new ideas, spend time with the family, attend some NFL games without worrying about things, and most importantly win my fantasy league. It will also allow me to work on growing my new company, Drake Consulting, a software development consulting company.

I'd like to say thank you to all the people who have sent me encouraging emails already this year. Your emails made it very hard to not get things setup this year.

I hope to see you next year.
